What you'll do

• Operate a Mammographic unit to produce images of the breasts for diagnostic purposes under the direction of a physician.
• Explain the procedure to the patient.
• Observe the scanning process and adjust imaging equipment as needed for improved picture quality.
• Perform additional duties within the scope of a mammography technologist.
