Teardown Technician

Job overview

The Teardown Technician role is onsite in Plainfield, IN, Monday through Thursday from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; Friday overtime may occur as business needs require. Compensation is $19–$22 per hour. Valley Truck Parts prepares heavy-duty diesel transmissions for remanufacturing. What you'll do

• Remove unnecessary transmission parts
• fully disassemble transmission units according to standard operating procedures
• care for parts intended for reuse
• organize parts for washing
• meet daily disassembly and teardown goals
• cross-train and perform duties in other work areas as needed.
