What you'll do

• Prepare and review individual federal and state income tax returns, primarily Form 1040
• identify tax-saving opportunities and advise on deductions, credits, estimated payments, and tax planning
• ensure compliance with tax regulations and IRS requirements
• manage client files from intake through completion
• research complex tax situations
• prepare business returns and supporting schedules
• communicate with clients
• stay current with tax law and continuing education requirements.
