Field Service Engineer

Job overview

The Field Service Engineer role is onsite at a client site in Scottsdale, AZ, five days per week, with frequent travel to customer locations or permanent placement at a customer location. Compensation is not specified. Corsica Technologies provides on-site IT support for AccountabilIT customers. The engineer resolves desktop and related IT issues, including escalations from Level 1 support, to help minimize customer downtime. The role documents work, maintains asset information, coordinates vendor support, and provides accurate, friendly customer service.

What you'll do

• Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot Windows desktop operating systems, Microsoft Office 365, desktop applications, PC hardware, printers, and peripherals
• support and patch desktop OS and application images
• use service desk tools to manage asset, configuration, request, and incident information
• maintain PC asset inventory and component returns
• resolve Windows and networking issues, including wired and wireless LAN/WAN connectivity
• coordinate vendor support
• document activities and time.
