Mental Health Technician – Day Shift

What you'll do

• Supervise and engage patients in the treatment milieu
• document behavior and activities in the electronic medical record
• assist with activities of daily living, nutrition, rest, and exercise
• complete and chart 15-minute safety checks
• support treatment and recreational activities
• take and document vital signs, weights, and specimens
• assist with intake and discharge processes
• transport patients as appropriate
• use de-escalation and crisis intervention techniques
• complete incident reports and required training.
