Site Development Engineer / Project Manager

Job overview

The Site Development Engineer / Project Manager role is onsite in Idaho Falls, ID. Compensation is $100,000–$130,000 per year. The position supports Horrocks’ site development projects for private and public clients and contributes to work serving communities. The engineer/project manager takes projects from planning through delivery, combining civil design, project oversight, budgeting, quality assurance, permitting, and client coordination. The role also coordinates staff resources and collaborates with other practice leaders on multidisciplinary project pursuits.

What you'll do

• Develop project work plans and scopes
• oversee projects and monitor schedules
• prepare fee proposals and manage budgets and invoicing
• prepare roadway, grading, drainage, water, and sewer plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D
• produce technical memoranda, plans, specifications, and reports
• administer quality assurance
• prepare calculations, construction specifications, permitting, and cost opinions
• manage development and redevelopment projects
• coordinate with clients, project teams, and construction contractors
• deploy staff resources and conduct project meetings.
