The accountant supports core accounting operations by processing accounts payable, maintaining accurate vendor and payment records, assisting with reconciliations and month-end close, and responding to internal accounting questions. The work helps maintain reliable financial records and supports audits and other accounting projects.

What you'll do

• Process high-volume accounts payable transactions
• review invoices and GL coding
• maintain vendor records and assist with W-9 and 1099 compliance
• generate checks and payment documentation
• research invoice and payment discrepancies
• reconcile A/P aging reports
• assist with journal entries and month-end close
• support audits and accounting projects.
