Executive Director — Charles River Branch

The Executive Director role is onsite in Needham, MA. Compensation is $105,000–$120,000 per year. The YMCA of Greater Boston branch leader advances the organization's mission and creates a transformative Y experience for members, employees, volunteers, donors, and the community. The director leads branch performance and operations, developing staff and volunteers while overseeing budgets, membership and program growth, fundraising, community engagement, facility standards, and innovation. The role aligns branch work with the YMCA's strategic priorities and supports strong member experiences and community impact.

What you'll do

• Lead, coach, and hold staff accountable
• hire, coach, and manage direct reports
• develop and execute the annual budget
• drive membership and program enrollment and growth
• recruit and develop a Board of Advisors
• lead fundraising and financial development
• engage community partners
• collaborate with Child Development leaders
• lead design-thinking practices
• execute marketing strategies
• ensure facility safety, cleanliness, and maintenance
• monitor local trends and branch performance. Occasional travel and periodic evening, early-morning, or weekend hours are required.
