What you'll do

• Provide nursing care to critically ill cardiovascular and cardiothoracic patients
• monitor hemodynamic and cardiac status
• manage complex cardiac, vascular, and cardiothoracic conditions
• assess and evaluate care plans
• administer medications, blood products, and IV therapies
• manage lines, drains, and critical-care devices
• respond to changes in condition
• collaborate during rounds and emergencies
• provide postoperative care
• document and hand off care
• educate patients and families.
