Sanitation Technician

Job overview

The Sanitation Technician role is onsite in Bastrop, TX, with compensation of $18–$20 per hour. Texas Original Compassionate Cultivation produces medical cannabis and aims to provide high-quality medicine to patients. The technician cleans and sanitizes facility buildings, work areas, and production equipment to maintain a sanitary environment for product safety. The role supports production and quality operations by following sanitation procedures and preventing contamination risks.

What you'll do

• Plan and complete sanitation functions according to environmental procedures and SOPs
• maintain the Master Sanitation Schedule
• perform cleaning chemical concentration checks and daily hygiene checks
• stock PPE and cleaning supplies
• coordinate with management and production personnel on sanitation issues
• help recommend improvements to equipment or work practices
• prevent product contamination
• remove waste properly
• use dedicated cleaning tools in designated areas
• follow safety and GMP policies.
