Shift Supervisor — Paper Mill

What you'll do

• Implement environmental, health, and safety rules
• guide hourly employees
• coordinate paper-machine operations with other shift supervisors
• mentor new hires and complete training paperwork
• maintain clean and organized production and warehouse areas
• assist with monthly safety training
• document incidents and employee records
• work with maintenance on root-cause analysis and shutdown planning
• plan employee schedules
• support process changes and trials
• monitor machine wire and clothing
• contribute to continuous improvement
• control labor, materials, and supply costs
• address employee concerns.
