The Cardiac Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) role is onsite in Independence, MO. Compensation is $32–$43 per hour. The position supports a 36-bed cardiac specialty unit at a Level II Trauma Center with Chest Pain Center accreditation and a designated Stroke Center. The RN provides care for patients with a range of cardiac and medical needs, continuously monitors cardiac rhythms, interprets ECGs, and responds to emergencies. The role contributes to safe step-down care through clinical judgment and coordination with the unit team.

What you'll do

• Monitor and analyze cardiac rhythms
• interpret ECGs
• identify arrhythmias and intervene during emergencies
• provide care for patients aged 16 and older with varied acuity, including chest pain, stroke, COPD, postoperative, GI, and rhythm conditions
• develop cardiac monitoring and step-down care knowledge.
