Retail Representative — Crop Protection

Job overview

The Retail Representative is a fully remote role for candidates residing in the Spencer, Algona, Forest City, or west of Clear Lake areas of Iowa. Compensation is not specified. Syngenta Crop Protection develops crop protection technologies and solutions supporting food security and sustainable agriculture. As part of a district sales team, the representative supports retail, grower, and distribution customers and works toward profitable market-share growth. The role develops customer partnerships, supports territory plans, and helps customers understand and use Syngenta crop protection products.

What you'll do

• Work toward sales, profit, and market-share targets with channel partners, key producers, and other customers
• identify customer needs and develop demand for Syngenta solutions
• serve as primary liaison for channel partners and retail accounts
• develop annual business plans
• collaborate with specialists, sales representatives, and agronomists
• coordinate and support trade shows, field product tours, and product launches
• manage field complaints and contribute to marketing, AgriEdge, and district plans
• mentor and train new district employees.
