The Augmented Right of Way Operator role is onsite in Piketon, OH. Pay is $29.16–$31.88 per hour. The position supports Ohio Valley Electric Corporation and Indiana-Kentucky Electric Corporation in maintaining rights of way and electric generation, transmission, and distribution facilities. The operator helps keep utility corridors and facilities maintained and supports construction, inspection, testing, operation, and repair work. The role uses heavy equipment and tools while following company and applicable safety requirements.

What you'll do

• Operate excavators, skid steers, forestry mulchers, company vehicles, cranes, aerial lifts, and other equipment
• clear trees and brush near high-voltage lines
• inspect and perform basic field maintenance on equipment
• assist with station work and transmission-line maintenance and repairs
• assist with oil-sample testing and oil-handling equipment
• follow safety rules and procedures
• maintain a valid commercial driver's license.
