The Pre-K 4 Lead Teacher role is onsite in Potomac, MD. Compensation is not specified. The teacher supports STEM Preschool’s early childhood program for children from infancy through age five, providing an engaging, STEM-focused learning experience. The Lead Teacher plans and implements a developmentally appropriate curriculum, assesses children’s development, and maintains individual portfolios. The role also builds relationships with families and supervises assistant teachers, aides, and volunteers to support a safe and stimulating classroom.

What you'll do

• Plan and implement a full-day, year-round, developmentally appropriate curriculum with weekly themes and STEM-related activities

• conduct parent-teacher conferences
• supervise assistant teachers, aides, and volunteers
• maintain required certifications and comply with applicable Maryland rules.
