Private School Bus Monitor

The Private School Bus Monitor role is onsite in Manchester, NH. Compensation is $25 per hour. Birch Academy is a specialized school serving children whose primary special education needs relate to autism or developmental delays. The monitor supports student safety and supervision during bus loading, transit, and unloading, and provides behavioral and emotional support in line with school and individualized education program behavior plans. The role helps students transition safely while communicating concerns to school staff and parents as appropriate.

What you'll do

• Supervise students during loading, transit, and unloading
• support behavior in alignment with school and IEP plans
• assist students entering and exiting the bus
• check seating and safety restraints
• communicate with drivers, school staff, and parents
• document incidents
• follow emergency and safety procedures.
