What you'll do

• Co-teach and build an engaging and joyful classroom environment.
• Teach basic principles of mathematics.
• Teach reading and writing to build literacy skills.
• Teach an ELA curriculum prioritizing meaningful and relevant texts.
• Teach a Science curriculum covering geology, astronomy, ecology, and natural cycles.
• Teach a Social Studies curriculum incorporating analyses of America's diverse histories.
• Meet weekly with principal/coach to analyze student work.
• Learn and implement strategies to differentiate instruction.
• Build positive relationships with students and partner with families.
• Engage in professional development and coaching.
• Support school operations like arrival, dismissal, and assemblies.
• Participate in school-wide meetings.

What we're looking for

Education

Bachelor's degree.

Experience

1-2 years experience preferred.
