Day Porter

The Day Porter role is onsite in Saint Paul, MN, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Pay is $24.46 per hour. The role supports the cleanliness, safety, and appearance of commercial properties served by Excel Facility Services. The porter maintains common areas and responds to cleanliness or maintenance concerns during the day. This work helps provide tenants, visitors, and staff with a safe, orderly, and welcoming property environment.

What you'll do

• Clean designated areas by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and removing trash
• maintain and restock restrooms
• monitor and clean entrances, walkways, and parking lots
• respond to spills, debris, and hazards
• perform minor maintenance such as changing light bulbs and replacing filters
• report larger repair needs
• use and store cleaning equipment and supplies safely
• coordinate with property management and staff about schedules and concerns.

Why this role
