Asset and Vehicle Maintenance Technician

Job overview

The Asset and Vehicle Maintenance Technician role is onsite in San Antonio, Texas, with field travel to customer sites and warehouse or shop work. Pay is $17–$19 per hour. The technician supports Southern Ice Cream by maintaining and delivering company equipment, including freezers. The role keeps company assets and vehicles ready for use through equipment delivery and setup, minor repairs, preventive maintenance, vehicle readiness checks, and accurate service and asset records. What you'll do

• Deliver, set up, and pick up company equipment at customer locations
• perform minor equipment repairs and adjustments
• inspect, clean, stage, and document assets for redeployment
• support vehicle preventive maintenance and readiness checks
• use Samsara for routing and communication and Excel for asset and service records
• operate a forklift and powered pallet jack safely
• and assist with loading, unloading, and shop organization.
