Medication Technician

Job overview

The Medication Technician role is onsite in Salinas, CA, with part-time schedules of 20–30 hours per week and shifts available from 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m. or 2:00–10:30 p.m.; compensation is $19–$19.50 per hour. Madonna Gardens Assisted Living and Memory Care provides resident care, activities, socialization, and dining support.

What you'll do

• Administer or supervise medications according to procedures, physician orders, and state laws
• maintain medication security and controlled-substance records
• review medication administration records and report errors. Assist residents with activities of daily living, transfers, meals, and personal environments
• conduct rounds, document and report condition changes, support activities, and help maintain a safe environment. At least three months of medication-administration experience is required.
