Manufacturing Production Equipment Service Technician

Job overview

The Manufacturing Production Equipment Service Technician role is onsite in Brockton, MA, at the client’s plant. Pay is $25–$32 per hour. The technician reports to the Plant Manager and works with the maintenance team, product manager, plant engineer, and an electrician to support production machinery and new product rollouts. The role maintains equipment reliability by performing preventive maintenance, identifying wear, troubleshooting breakdowns, and modifying machinery for new products. Coordinating maintenance around production needs helps limit disruption while supporting safe, consistent plant operations.

What you'll do

• Plan and perform preventive maintenance inspections, service, and lubrication
• clean, disassemble, and reassemble equipment and verify alignment and operation
• document worn or damaged components and initiate replacement orders
• troubleshoot and repair breakdowns and confirm performance with test runs
• modify machinery for new products
• organize tools and parts inventory and complete service reports
• coordinate preventive maintenance timing with managers
• assist with facility upkeep.
