Manufacturing Technician II, Lyophilization

Job overview

The Manufacturing Technician II, Lyophilization role is 100% onsite in Carlsbad, CA, Monday–Friday for eight hours per day, with a flexible 6:00 a.m. start time; overtime, weekends, and holidays may be required. Pay is $25–$27 per hour. Argonaut Manufacturing Services provides contract manufacturing for biopharmaceutical and molecular diagnostics companies. The technician executes production activities in a regulated cleanroom environment, supporting lyophilized product manufacturing and quality-system compliance across the Life Sciences Department.

What you'll do

• Execute production processes under cGMP, cGDP, and applicable safety and quality requirements
• document and review manufacturing activities
• support pilot manufacturing and sustaining projects
• formulate liquid components, fill liquids, and create lyophilized products in an ISO cleanroom
• handle liquid nitrogen safely
• inspect products
• perform calculations and unit conversions
• operate laboratory equipment
• clean and sanitize production areas
• author non-conformance reports and risk analysis memos.
