PRN Staff Nurse (Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse)

The PRN Staff Nurse role is onsite in Baldwinville, MA, with per-diem 12-hour shifts as needed. Compensation is $35–$40 per hour for Licensed Practical Nurses and $40–$45 per hour for Registered Nurses, with a $5 shift differential. The nurse supports Banyan Treatment Centers’ care for patients receiving treatment for substance use disorders and mental health conditions. The nurse assesses patients, provides routine care, administers medications as directed, and contributes to collaborative treatment and recovery planning. The role also supports crisis response, patient and family communication, documentation, and regulatory compliance as part of a multidisciplinary team.

What you'll do

• Conduct nursing assessments, including ASAM forms
• provide routine care across levels of care
• identify treatment needs and contribute to measurable treatment plans
• complete nursing documentation
• review medication logs and assist the medical department
• administer medications as directed
• provide medication education
• coordinate with patients, families, and referral sources on progress and post-discharge plans
• respond to crises with risk assessment and de-escalation
• tailor nursing care to patient needs.
