What you'll do

• Lead detailed cost estimates for heavy civil projects
• prepare and review quantity takeoffs, pricing, labor and equipment costs, production rates, and assumptions
• analyze plans, specifications, geotechnical reports, schedules, and contract requirements
• develop phasing, sequencing, means and methods, and bid strategies
• solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing
• conduct site visits
• collaborate on bids and cost-saving opportunities
• support Design-Build and Joint Venture pursuits when required
• mentor junior estimators
• participate in handoffs and post-bid reviews.

Why this role
