What you'll do

• Assign contract anesthesia technicians to work areas, including Main, CoTo, operating rooms and ancillary areas
• ensure anesthesia-related tasks are completed as mission requires
• maintain the monthly duty schedule to provide adequate coverage
• coordinate availability and proper functioning of supplies and equipment
• communicate with biomedical staff, manufacturer representatives and other departments
• provide training and access to resources
• enforce applicable policies and procedures
• encourage teamwork and skill sharing
• conduct semiannual appraisals and provide feedback or disciplinary action as appropriate
• remain available by Vocera, office phone or cell phone during duty hours.

Why this role

Requires at least one year of healthcare experience in a perioperative setting, a high school diploma or GED, and current CPR or Basic Life Support certification through an American Heart Association- or Red Cross-approved program.
