Patient Access Specialist

What you'll do

• Greet and check in patients
• obtain and verify demographic, insurance, and privacy information
• update electronic health record and billing systems
• collect and post patient payments
• schedule and coordinate appointments, follow-ups, testing, and referrals
• verify insurance eligibility and benefits and assist with pre-authorizations as needed
• maintain medical charts and correspondence
• answer and direct calls
• communicate with patients, providers, referring offices, and staff
• comply with HIPAA and confidentiality requirements.
