The HVAC Sheet Metal Fabricator role is onsite in Gardner, KS, with pay from $20 to $36+ per hour depending on experience. The position manufactures HVAC ductwork and related components in a fabrication shop. The fabricator turns drawings and specifications into ductwork and fittings through layout, cutting, forming, and assembly. The work supports project schedules and field installation while meeting quality and safety standards.

What you'll do

• Fabricate HVAC ductwork, fittings, and accessories to shop drawings and specifications
• read blueprints, shop drawings, and take-offs
• lay out, cut, form, and assemble sheet metal
• operate and maintain shop equipment
• produce rectangular, spiral, round, and lined duct systems
• meet SMACNA and company quality standards
• label and stage materials
• maintain a safe shop
• coordinate fabrication issues
• track output and deadlines.

Why this role
