Job overview

The Caregiver, Home Care role is in person in Hazel Crest, IL. Compensation is $19–$20 per hour. The position supports Always Best Care Chicagoland's non-medical home care services in DuPage, Will, and Cook Counties. The caregiver assists clients with daily activities and follows their care plans to help seniors remain safe and independent at home. The role also communicates unusual incidents to the Care Coordinator and responds responsibly to emergencies.

What you'll do

• Provide medication reminders
• assist clients with mobility and ambulation
• help with personal care and hygiene
• support physical therapy and other recommended exercises
• shop for or accompany clients shopping
• perform light housekeeping and meal preparation
• report unusual incidents to the Care Coordinator
• respond responsibly in emergencies
• follow the care plan.
