Small Engine Technician

The Small Engine Technician works onsite in Little Canada, Minnesota, on a full-time Monday–Friday schedule from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Pay is $25–$34 per hour, based on experience and certifications. Tri-State Bobcat provides compact construction equipment and outdoor power solutions. The technician diagnoses and repairs small engines and related equipment, performs maintenance and testing, and documents repair work. The role helps keep customer equipment operating through accurate troubleshooting, quality repairs, and coordination with the parts department and Service Manager.

What you'll do

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair small engines
• perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and equipment testing
• use diagnostic tools and computer systems
• coordinate parts needs
• document work orders, parts, labor, and findings
• communicate progress with the Service Manager
• maintain a clean and safe work area
• attend company-paid manufacturer training.
