Senior Full Stack Engineer

The Senior Full Stack Engineer role is onsite in San Bruno, CA. The estimated base salary range is $185,000–$210,000 per year, excluding benefits and potential equity. The engineer joins Mill’s engineering team, building technology to prevent food waste and keep food in the food system. This individual-contributor technical leadership role drives the technical direction and delivery of a project area while contributing code across the stack and mentoring engineers. The work supports Mill’s software products through scalable application development, effective data and API services, and reliable deployment and performance practices.

What you'll do

• Lead technical design and execution of full-stack web applications
• design scalable, secure solutions
• own estimates and delivery plans and surface risks
• develop APIs and user interfaces
• use AI-assisted development tools in coding, review, and delivery
• mentor engineers and conduct code reviews
• champion testing, CI/CD, and deployment practices
• troubleshoot issues and optimize application performance.
