What you'll do

• Evaluate course requests, curricula, training sites, and instructors for compliance with applicable regulations, NVIC guidance, the Marine Safety Manual, and maritime best practices
• evaluate top-level deck courses and programs
• check learning objectives against regulations and IMO model courses
• review assessments and instructor qualifications, including credential checks in MMLD
• recommend Coast Guard actions and draft approval, information-request, modification, correction letters, and course certificates
• route work for peer and branch chief review and incorporate Government corrections
• contribute to the team goal of at least 20 course approvals per month
• when remote, coordinate course-folder movement and system status changes with NMC staff.
