The Skilled Dayshift Caregiver role is onsite in Summerville, SC, with part-time employment and pay of $14–$16 per hour. Shifts vary from four hours to full-day and overnight shifts, with weekday and weekend availability preferred. Visiting Angels provides non-clinical care to elderly, disabled, ill, or recovering clients. The role exists to help clients with daily living, safety, mobility, and companionship according to their care plans. Caregivers assist with personal care, meals, errands, and prescribed medications, and monitor and report changes in client condition or unusual incidents.

What you'll do

• Assist clients with prescribed medications, mobility, transfers, walking, and transportation to appointments or outings
• provide bathing, grooming, and hygiene assistance
• assist with physical therapy exercises as directed
• prepare meals according to client needs and dietary restrictions
• perform light housekeeping
• run errands or accompany clients shopping
• provide companionship and emotional support
• monitor and report changes or incidents
• respond appropriately to emergencies.
