What you'll do

• Perform SMAW and GTAW welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and other approved materials
• fabricate, install, modify, repair, and maintain piping systems, structural steel, vessels, and related equipment
• interpret P&IDs, blueprints, isometric drawings, and sketches
• prepare materials by cutting, grinding, beveling, fitting, and layout
• operate fabrication tools safely
• meet weld quality standards and pass required inspections
• conduct field inspections
• participate in safety meetings and follow safe work practices.

Why this role

Requires a high school diploma or GED, or equivalent military/work experience; industrial pipe welding, fabrication, or maintenance experience; ability to interpret technical drawings; and SMAW/GTAW experience. Technical or welding certification and 3–5+ years of relevant industrial experience are listed as preferred.
