Registered Nurse — Ambulatory Surgery Center, Per Diem

What you'll do

• Make preoperative and postoperative patient calls
• admit and discharge patients
• record and analyze medical histories and conditions
• administer ordered medications and treatments
• circulate intraoperatively
• provide conscious sedation
• develop care plans with healthcare professionals
• educate patients and families
• and maintain operating-room, asepsis, sterilization, and compliance practices. The nurse may function as the designated Infection Control Specialist.
