Assess patient condition during admission and each shift; Perform procedures and monitoring as ordered; Document care in the patient medical record; Administer prescribed medications and monitor for therapeutic response; Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs; Teach patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, and medications.
