What you'll do

• Provide emotional health counseling for conditions including anxiety, depression, grief and loss, caregiver stress, and adjustment disorders
• recognize patient rights under the Code of Ethics
• collaborate with other disciplines and providers
• communicate with clinical staff about follow-up and continuity of care
• assist with wellness-service marketing and patient education materials
• identify patient resources
• participate in quality improvement and monthly team meetings
• schedule appointments as needed. If skills allow, may provide obesity-related behavioral appointments, tobacco cessation counseling, and diabetes self-management group support.
