Regional Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Glendale, CA. This is an onsite position with a salary of $110,000 - $125,000 per year. This role exists to provide high-quality speech therapy services to students across multiple school locations, aiming to improve their communication skills and overall development.

What you'll do

• Evaluating students to identify speech-language therapy needs, developing and implementing individualized speech therapy plans, setting collaborative goals with families and educators, monitoring student progress, providing direct speech and language therapy, documenting sessions, maintaining case records, communicating with families, collaborating with teachers and related service providers, participating in multidisciplinary meetings, providing clinical support to onsite teams, mentoring educators, conducting client intakes and assessments, overseeing quality of services, and engaging in continuous professional development.

What we're looking for

Education

Master's degree or higher in speech pathology or a closely related field of study.

Experience

Prior experience and/or knowledge in providing speech therapy instruction, guidance and/or support to children, preferably in an alternative, special education and/or behavioral health program setting. Well-versed in special education services and compliance, effective teaching strategies, classroom management systems, data-based decision making, and working with children with individualized education plans (IEP's). Highly skilled in working with children with learning disabilities, emotional behavioral disorders, autism spectrum disorders and/or other related disabilities. Proven success in developing and implementing effective treatment plans for children with diverse needs at various levels. Proficiency in providing motivation and having critical conversations with students that help move them toward realistic goals. Highly skilled in building relationships with students, parents, teachers and community and/or district partners. Advanced oral and written communication, organization, conflict resolution, multitasking, problem solving, and decision-making ability. Knowledge of relevant technology including experience with instructional technology, Microsoft Office Suite, database entry and basic office equipment.
