The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is an onsite role based in Lindenhurst, IL. Compensation is $90,000-$130,000 per year plus a $5,000 sign-on bonus. This position supports the Special Education team at Spectrum Center Schools and Programs, a division of ChanceLight Behavioral Health, Therapy, & Education. This role exists to provide high-quality speech therapy services to students in a K-12 special education environment. The SLP evaluates communication needs, develops individualized treatment plans, and collaborates with educational teams to improve student outcomes and communication functioning.

What you'll do

  • Evaluates communication strengths and needs.
  • Designs and implements evidence-based speech therapy programs.
  • Monitors student progress using data-driven methods.
  • Writes progress reports.
  • Manages case records.
  • Maintains session notes.
  • Communicates with families.
  • Conducts clinical assessments.
  • Facilitates staff training.
  • Mentors team members.
  • Collaborates with multidisciplinary professionals.
