The Research and Development Chemist — Skincare role is onsite in Paterson, NJ. Pay is $60,000–$68,000 per year. The chemist supports Englewood Lab’s R&D Skincare team in developing skincare products. The role prepares and analyzes lab batches, tracks stability studies, documents formulations, and collaborates with quality, regulatory, production, marketing, vendors, and a supervisor. This work supports product development, line extensions, and product improvements.

What you'll do

• Maintain an accurate lab notebook
• prepare lab batches
• create ingredient lists
• compare specifications with prior batches
• follow up on stability studies
• measure viscosity, pH, and density
• enter formulations into the company system
• communicate with raw-material vendors
• assist with skincare formulation and development
• collaborate with QA, Regulatory, Production, and Marketing
• maintain lab equipment and organize materials and samples
• follow laboratory safety, GMP, and quality standards.
