CDR ProSource seeks a manager to oversee purchasing, sourcing, inventory, and vendor relationships. What you'll do

• Monitor inventory and purchasing needs
• source and evaluate vendors
• negotiate pricing, contracts, payment and delivery terms
• manage supplier relationships
• supervise the Assistant Purchasing Agent
• process purchase orders, bids, and documentation
• forecast demand
• identify cost savings
• coordinate receipt of products with warehouse personnel
• communicate shortages and supply issues
• prepare cost analyses
• improve purchasing procedures
• support customer calls and counter sales as needed
• attend trade shows when required
• travel to branches for inventory approximately twice per year or less
• ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
