The Sheet Metal Shop Foreman role is onsite in Springfield, MO. Pay is $40–$41 per hour. SMSI provides mechanical services to commercial and industrial markets and has served those markets for 30 years. The foreman leads shop production and fabrication workflows, helping ensure quality, efficiency, and timely completion of sheet metal projects. The role also develops shop personnel and coordinates with project managers and field teams to align production with project needs.

What you'll do

• Lead daily sheet metal shop operations and supervise fabrication for efficiency, accuracy, and quality. Operate and manage CNC laser, plasma, and waterjet production equipment. Coordinate HVAC ductwork fabrication from drawings through finished product
• assist with estimating and material planning
• meet production schedules
• enforce safety standards
• train and mentor personnel
• and collaborate with project managers and field teams.
