Design Manager, Fleet Charging Hubs

The Design Manager, Fleet Charging Hubs role is onsite in Washington, DC, with other locations potentially considered. The annual base salary range is $135,000–$155,000. Voltera develops and operates infrastructure supporting zero-emission vehicles and carbon-free transportation. This role owns fleet charging hub projects from site control through permitting and construction handoff. It coordinates design, utilities, permitting, procurement, budgets, and schedules across internal teams and external consultants to help customers bring charging sites to market quickly.

What you'll do

• Own a portfolio of fleet charging hub projects from due diligence and conceptual design through permit approval and construction handoff
• review and redline design sets
• reconcile customer standards with company standards, utility specifications, and local code
• select and manage A&E consultants and specialty vendors
• coordinate utility applications and permitting
• manage project budgets, schedules, and business cases
• support long-lead procurement and construction transition.
