The Preoperative and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit Registered Nurse role is onsite in Tampa, FL, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Compensation is not specified. The role supports women’s health at RMG IVF – Surgery Center. The RN provides perioperative care, facilitates patient transitions from pre-op to the operating room and from recovery to release, and monitors patients as anesthesia wears off. The role contributes to safe procedures through medication administration, patient assessment, handoffs, and post-operative instructions.

What you'll do

• Provide age-appropriate patient care
• facilitate transitions from pre-op to the operating room and from PACU to release
• monitor and evaluate patients as anesthesia wears off
• communicate post-operative instructions
• assist anesthesia as directed
• verify history, orders, and consent documentation
• prepare and administer medications according to practice standards
• provide handoff communication to the circulating RN.

Why this role
