The Lead Coating Operator, 2nd Shift role is onsite in Lake in the Hills, IL, with pay of $25–$30 per hour plus shift differential. AFC Materials Group develops high-temperature and non-stick composite solutions through coating, converting, and fabrication. The operator supports the Coating department by running equipment, maintaining quality, and directing team activities. The role combines production work with training and coordination to support safe, efficient output; the schedule is expected to transition to a rotating night schedule, following 30–90 days of first- or second-shift training.

What you'll do

• Perform Machine Operator III duties
• lead and support operators
• train and cross-train team members
• oversee job setup and verify materials and mixes
• monitor quality and adjust as needed
• record shift quality and downtime data
• maintain a clean and safe work area
• prepare PTFE mixes
• complete ERP inventory transactions
• rotate workstations and support continuous improvement.
