Procurement Manager

The position supports a growing U.S. distributor of cement and construction materials expanding its distribution network and capital projects. The manager will develop and professionalize procurement, building processes and controls while sourcing for capital projects, operations, maintenance, and supply-chain needs. The role helps improve supplier terms, cost and supply reliability, budget predictability, and the procurement function’s ability to support company growth.

What you'll do

• Lead sourcing and procurement for capital projects, equipment, maintenance, materials, construction services, and operations. Partner with engineering, operations, finance, logistics, and project teams to translate technical requirements into sourcing strategies. Negotiate supplier agreements and commercial terms
• analyze spend and markets
• identify savings and sourcing alternatives
• establish procurement controls and approval procedures in SAP
• develop budgets and improve purchasing and cash forecasting
• ensure timely delivery
• resolve supplier issues
• support terminal and facility expansion
• guide procurement team members and build a scalable function.
