Equipment Service Technician — Medical Equipment

Job overview

The Equipment Service Technician is a remote-based, customer-facing role primarily working inside hospitals in the Chattanooga, TN area. Pay is $60,000–$65,000 per year. STERIS provides healthcare and life-science product and service solutions intended to support a healthier and safer world. The technician troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains medical equipment, coordinating service work and documentation with customers and internal technical teams to support reliable equipment operation.

What you'll do

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain STERIS and competitor equipment
• prioritize preventive maintenance, service and warranty calls, installations, and upgrades
• document issues and meet regulatory requirements
• coordinate with technical support, engineering, and service contract teams
• provide customers with repair options and pricing.
