Tower Technician II

Job overview

The Tower Technician II role is an onsite, full-time position based in Albuquerque, NM, with regular travel to job sites, including possible overnight stays and travel away from home up to 75% of the time. Compensation is $22–$28 per hour. InfraServices delivers telecommunications infrastructure and recovery services. The technician installs, tests, maintains, and repairs wireless communication towers and related equipment, while supporting safe, high-quality, and timely project completion. The role also leads job-site tasks and mentors less experienced technicians.

What you'll do

• Climb and work on communication towers up to 500 feet
• install, test, and maintain antennas, radios, lines, connectors, and mounts
• assist with tower assembly
• perform weatherproofing and fiber testing
• inspect rigging and follow safe hoisting practices
• complete timecards and safety documentation
• maintain tools, equipment, vehicles, and job sites
• train and mentor less experienced team members
• travel regularly to job sites.

Why this role
