Medical Scribe is an onsite role in New Smyrna Beach, FL. Compensation is $16.00 per hour. The scribe works under a provider’s direct supervision to support accurate and efficient clinical documentation. The role exists to document patient encounters and related clinical information in the electronic record, helping the provider maintain an accurate record and an efficient workflow. The scribe records information as directed and does not make decisions or interpret medical information.

What you'll do

• Accompany the physician during patient examinations and document the history and exam
• record diagnoses, symptoms, follow-up instructions, and prescriptions as dictated
• transcribe laboratory and radiology order results
• document procedures performed by the physician.
