BIM Manager, Automated Security Design Services

Job overview

The BIM Manager, Automated Security Design Services role is hybrid for candidates in the San Diego, CA region, with 60% onsite as needed and 40% remote; candidates outside the region may work fully remote. Occasional travel to client sites may be required. Compensation is not specified. The role supports 4Liberty’s Automated Security Design Services practice. The individual contributor designs, reviews, and validates electronic security systems for large-scale commercial programs and additional healthcare and critical infrastructure work. The role maintains technical integrity and quality of design deliverables through engineering review, QA/QC, standards development, and coordination with project stakeholders.

What you'll do

• Design electronic security system packages from concept through construction and as-built stages
• produce AutoCAD drawing sets and system documentation
• specify components and validate field survey data
• review and redline design packages
• validate engineering calculations and system capacity
• apply QA/QC standards
• participate in project and design reviews
• maintain design standards and templates
• support BIM workflows, including Revit modeling as assigned
• coordinate with internal teams, field teams, vendors, subcontractors, and clients.
