Surgical Technologist III (OR Tech 3)

The Surgical Technologist III (OR Tech 3) role is onsite in Kansas City, MO, and pays $27–$45 per hour. The position is based at a 585+ bed hospital with a Level I Trauma Center, Primary Stroke Center, Chest Pain Center, and Breast Care Center. The technologist supports the operating room team by managing instruments, supplies, and equipment in the first scrub role and assisting the surgeon in the second scrub role. Lead competency across multiple specialties, including vascular procedures in a hybrid room, supports safe and effective surgical care.

What you'll do

• Manage instruments, supplies, and equipment while maintaining the sterile field in the first scrub role
• assist the surgeon or surgical assistant in the second scrub role through sponging, suctioning, cutting suture, holding retractors, and manipulating the endoscopic camera
• demonstrate lead competency in robotic, total joints, neuro/spine, burn, and vascular surgery
• perform wire procedures in a vascular hybrid room.
